Accumulate points throughout the year by playing in KWGA regularly scheduled playdays. There will be 10 contenders (horses). The 9 players with the most points accumulated after the November 5, 2024, playday will be contenders. The 10^th spot could possibly be a “Long Shot”, the person who has attended the most playdays regardless of their points. If that person is already a contender, there will not be a “Long Shot” in the race. All 10 spots will then be the players with the most points.

 

POINTS ARE AWARDED ... for individual net score on qualifying playdays. 10 points to overall net winner for the day's game, 9 points for second place winner, 8 points for next place winner, all the way down to 2 points. Everyone else gets 1 participation point for playing that playday!

 

RUNNING THE RACE … The 9-Hole League race will be Tuesday November 12, 2024, and the 18-hole League race will be Wednesday, November 13, 2024. Both will be a 9 hole tournament/luncheon. Each horse will pick a jockey of their choosing, jockeys must be a KWGA member. Horses play each hole and a net score is recorded. The horse with the highest net score on a hole will be eliminated. In the event of a tie on any hole, there will be a tie-breaker challenge to complete.

The payout will go to the top 3 places: Win, Place and Show.
